Currently, Kent is beginning his 24th year in ministry serving as the Senior Life Pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg for the past 5 years, Kent enjoys teaching and preaching, visiting and simply loving people. I love to share the Gospel with others and develop relationships with them. I am a life-long learner. I believe that learning is important to keeping one informed and able to communicate within the generations. I hold a Doctorate of Ministry from Liberty University in the Leadership Cognate. I hold a Master of Divinity from the Samuel D. Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, a Master of Business Administration from Averett University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Longwood University. I am married to Emily Williams Wise and we have four children. Kent and Emily will celebrate their 34th Anniversary on December 17 of this year. Their children are Annah (30), Grayson (27) , Kage (20), and Kyle (19). Emily is an Art Teacher at Staunton River High School. We live in Bedford, Virginia.
